As of July 2024, both ZIRKEL and GCIS have become part of the ElektraFi family. With ZIRKEL’s 23 years of service in Routt and Moffat Counties, along with our larger team and well-established operations, GCIS is now being integrated into the ZIRKEL brand. Eventually, all services will be unified under the ElektraFi brand, but this will be a gradual process.

The ZIRKEL team is actively taking over the operations of GCIS. We’re spending significant time in the area, mapping out the network, learning the existing systems, and planning a series of upgrades to enhance your service.

In the coming months, we’ll be integrating GCIS’s systems with ZIRKEL’s, which will bring some minor changes to your billing. We’ll communicate these changes well in advance. For reference, ZIRKEL bills on the 1st of each month, with Autopay processing on the 3rd. Payments are due by the 20th, and accounts become past due on the 24th, at which point internet service is temporarily suspended.

We accept payments by check at 1856 Kamar Plaza in Steamboat, credit cards, and ACH payments. 

Our team is here to help if you need any adjustments, such as grace periods or changes to your Autopay date. Rest assured, your monthly bill amount will remain the same. As we get our new fiberWave services deployed in Grand County over the coming year, we will introduce new plans and pricing in the area with speeds up to 650Mbps download by 125Mbps upload.
